Imagine my surprise when I realized the poem demanded meter and rhyme. The title is stolen from Johnny Cash's "Thirteen."

Though Cash covered it on American Recordings, I believe the song was Danzig's. Cool draft!

The song was Danzig's originally. The lyric stolen above was Cash's--Danzig's has one small, critical difference.
