Great title. As usual, I enjoy the cascading strings of sounds - "spoil the picnic and pick the spoils" is a particularly good turn. Not sure about "chant to the mantis god" - the assonance is good, but the references takes me out of a blurring torrent of ant bodies into something green and jarring. Terrific ending.
