Resumes
Hey, y'all. I'm expanding the FAQ portion of my resume site (it's the blog if you click on my profile...). Do you have any basic questions or things you'd like to know about resumes, cover letters, job searches, etc.?

Well, I have lots of specific comments - maybe I'll send you an email separately, but the fundamental issue for me is putting too much detail in the resume and not having anything else to add to the points made there. Resumes need to start the conversation, not complete it.
How you cover that in an FAQ? I don't have a clue.

gosh, i have so many of these questions. most prominent may be "what's the point?", as it's only ever seemed to me to be about networking. :-P
