Fascinating extrapolation on that epigraph. I love the phrase turned between blue trickled and the semicolon. The last line seems to want to jar me out of perspective, but I'm not picking up on why. I do like the change in pace of the last sentence, though. Hope that's helpful.
Love it, Steven. It really trounced my expectations for this kind of poem, and I don't really know what hit me. I guess it was a book. Bravo!
