My Day Job
Today a client informed me that the resume I had prepared for him used the word "and" too often. This is the same client who substitutes "u" for "you" in every e-mail he sends. And who is not a native English speaker. This will not end well.

Well, obviously you have to use more "'n'" in that particular text. As in:
Skilled in writing 'n' reading; operates fork lift 'n' power saw with ease 'n' flair.

Maybe you could ask the client to mark which instances of "and" he feels should be deleted. Then just delete the ones he's marked, and give him the revised version.
You could also substitute "eye" for "I" in the emails you send to him.
Just a thought...

Lyle, I actually pretty much suggested the "tell me which uses you want removed, and they're gone" approach to him. I have yet to hear back.
