Testing

Okay, I'm trying A. D.'s method of using JPG files to post poems. Here's a poem I like, though it's a little older.

Comments:
Why do you use a jpeg? Is it so people can't rip off your work as easily?

I believe the triple advantage is (A) harder to cut and paste it, (B) harder to search for it on Google or such engines, and (C) you can delete the file later without deleting interesting comments, other text, etc.

jpegs are hot.

the last tercet is a good little poem in itself.

I really really really like this one, Steve. Good work!

Thanks, guys. My (in-flux) manuscript's current title comes from this poem. It's a complete sentence. See if you can guess what it is. :-)

Actually, isn't the very best thing about jpeg poems the fact that line breaks, spacing, etc. don't get all wonky? My lines are generally long, and so this is something I contend with online - have a poem currently posted, and its breaks look nothing like they should ....

Good point indeed, Melissa.
