Informal poll
Okay, you know the skin that forms on top of cook-and-serve pudding when you refrigerate it? How many of you like to eat pudding skin, and how many think it's gross?

I have to confess that I like the pudding skin. Not only is it more puddingy, but the flavor is more intense -- the chocolate more chocolatey, the lemon more lemony. It's sort of like Ur-Pudding.
gross. I'm with Amanda, if the pudding is still warm enough to heat up the skin. If not, the skin gets scraped off ad thrown away.
I find the idea of warm pudding (outside specialties like bread pudding) less appetizing than that of pudding skin.
Jilly and Nick, you're in a good contest for grossest metaphor that still can't quite turn me off to pudding skin.

I don't like pudding. It tastes like glop.
(Nothing against it, I just don't like it.)
Interesting discussing though...

I'm not interested in eating the skin but I do enjoy the moment when I break it apart to find the warm stuff underneath.
